It also detects environmental factors such as light, temperature, and humidity, covering a wide area with high accuracy. It seamlessly connects to Yealink gateway devices* via Bluetooth, sharing data proactively. This enables intelligent strategies and works with IoT devices, creating a smarter meeting experience.

Smart People Counting

RoomSensor Pro recognizes both dynamic and static individuals, enabling precise people counting. It reports data to RoomPanel/Plus for intelligent room occupancy or release, aiding administrators in optimizing the management of conference room resources. The number of people will be prominently displayed on the RoomPanel for easy monitoring

Cozy Meeting Environment

RoomSensor Pro automatically monitors the lighting, temperature, and humidity in the conference room, providing real-time data to Yealink gateway devices. The third-party IoT platform integrated into the gateway devices can use this data to intelligently control* lighting, curtains, air conditioning, and other devices, ensuring a consistently cozy meeting environment.

Yealink RoomSensor, the enterprise-level wireless Passive Infrared sensor (PIR sensor), is enabled for multiple sensing features of space occupancy, light condition, temperature and humidity, etc. With the built-in Bluetooth 5.0 and lithium battery, it's compact and cable-free to deploy. Moreover, the RoomSensor can be associated with various IoT devices and Yealink Workspace Management Platform, to build an intelligent and energy-efficient workspace.

Ideal and Scalable Solution for Multi-size Space

As a compact all-in-one sensing appliance, a single RoomSensor is ideal for usage in huddle to medium meeting rooms. And for large-sized ones, a multi-sensor network via Bluetooth mesh can be adopted to implement broader coverage. The RoomSensor is eligible for coordinating and linking with other intelligent IoT terminals, bringing features such as automatic check-in, lighting control, meeting room release and so on, to transform the traditional meeting rooms into smart workspace.

Yealink RoomPanel for Microsoft Teams

Yealink RoomPanel is one of the dedicated Microsoft Teams devices with compact touchscreen and ideal for mounted outside the meeting spaces for displaying meeting details scheduled via Teams or Outlook 365 calendaring applications. Moreover, the panel is also enabled for reserving an available room on the spot and indicating current room status.

Paired with a Yealink RoomSensor, the RoomPanel enables users to auto check-in and see the room status when the RoomSensor detects participants entering the room. Moreover, when the occupancy status of the detected room does not match that shown on the panel, a pop-up message will be displayed on the panel. This automated operation allows for touchless office space and increases the efficiency of meeting room usage.
